It is always great to see crews coming back to Israel for shooting more exciting series, but having the Initiative Productions/Galan Inc.

crew return was a special honor. The crew surrounding director Hector Galan was previously in the country at Christmas for shooting in Bethlehem and Jerusalem and returned now to shoot at exciting locations such as Qasser El-Yahoud (the baptism site of John the Baptist), the Jesus boat, and Mount Gerizim near Nablus plus picking up additional locations in Jerusalem.

As always, Jonathan Phillips proved to be an excellent and knowledgeable host, and DP Tom Taylor, soundman John Trey-Derbes, Elliot Jackson and Blake Levin managed to get stunning footage for the upcoming eight-part documentary series which will most likely commence screening on PBS in April 2011. Further footage for the series was filmed independently at the 2010 Easter procession by Biblical Productions upon Galan Inc.’s request.
